Runescape- Can I finish Dragon Slayer?

I think u should wait till u are lvl 45 (combat lvl). Remember though that it also depends on ur armor, so u probably have an adamnt set, right? (if i remember well u need 40 defense to use rune armor) so yeah i think u should try to higher up ur defense to 40. and then u r ready to do dragon's slayer.
